Testing Hugo

While I very much liked the idea of Octopress generating static pages, I do not know enough Ruby to deal with problems I had after updating my base OS.

No idea if this was my fault or Ruby’s fault, but it lead to me not updating my blog any more. I honestly could not be asked to sink too much time into debugging what was wrong. After all this is just a playground and my spare time is limited.

This w-e I finally got fed up with the situation and looked for alternatives.

Hugo does sound promising, so I had a go at it.

This time it’s in Go (octopress was in Ruby). What could possibly go wrong ;-)
