This is a very terse braindump on testing the WDT on my minisforum MS-01 nodes that run CentOS Stream 9.

This is my braindump on installing cephadm
on CentOS Stream 9.
While I use a QNAP TS-473A for my tests plus 2 VMs, the below applies to any machine or VM running CentOS Stream 9 FWIW: My installation and initial configuration is described in the post QNAP TS-473A with CentOS Stream 9.
In happy distro hopping, I installed CentOS Stream 9 on my QNAP TS-473A.
These are my installation notes. They are similar to my RHEL8 notes and my Fedora Server notes.
This is a quick braindump of setting up our home GitLab instance (on CentOS 8) to backup
to an existing CephFS but with access limited to the directory /GitLab_backup
.
[root@gitlab ~]# df -h /mnt/cephfs-GitLab_backup/
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
ceph-fuse 5.3T 175G 5.1T 4% /mnt/cephfs-GitLab_backup
In further happy distro hopping (since Ansible makes this quite painless), I installed RHEL8 on my four TerraMaster F5-422.
I received my 3 additional TerraMaster F5-422.
Time to install CentOS Stream in preparation for Ceph Luminous.
I reinstalled my TerraMaster F5-422 with CentOS Stream.
The following post is heavily based on Fedora on the ODROID-HC2
It is is about installing CentOS Userland armv7hl on an ODROID-HC2 (from a Fedora 31 x86_64 workstation).
The aim is to get the ODROID in a state where one can ssh as root to the host.
Both initial setup over serial and installing without using a serial console are described.
I was gifted a SoftIron OverDrive 1000, an ARMv8 Opteron Seattle based machine.
This post is my braindump. Expect it to change until I remove ‘WIP: ’ from the title.
